I’m still freaking crying. Jesus I haven’t cried like this in over a year.

I just had one of the scariest moments on my life.

My cat who has been with me since I was 6, I’m 20 now, was laying down on the couch, and when I walked by I noticed her face was just straight down in the blanket she was on and I have never seen her sit like that before so that was the first thing that scared me. Then I walked up and moved her head to the side, and she felt limp, just… dead limp. My other hand shot down to her, but she just suddenly lifted her head at me and shook it like she had been sleeping.

I literally broke down in tears right then because I thought for a moment she had died, and it seriously was one of the scariest feelings I’ve ever felt. My heart stopped for a moment, just stopped. I picked her up and held her in my arms, and now she’s on my lap as I type this. I still feel just terrified. Please God, don’t do this to me. Don’t take my cat away yet. Please not yet…
